Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna Movie Review
Physical Infidelity as per Institution of Marriage = CRIME
Emotional Infidelity as per Institution of Marriage = CRIME
or NO CRIME??????
Note: Many reviews are already there on KANK telling about the direction, movie, story, lyrics, music etc. So without repeating anything, which is already told but just trying to play strings of mind.
THE CHARACTERS:
PZ = Preity Zinta = Ria Saran
She sparkled and sprinkled, Brightened and Twinkled
But what all LOVE she had in her bag, got withered
AB-Jr = Abhishek Bachan = Rishi Talwar
He sat like a prince cool and calm
No LUCK, No LOVE in the lines of his Palm
AB-Sr = Amitabh Bachan = Sexy SAM = Samarjeet Talwar
He Roared and He Barked, He danced in the Dark
As he knew it all, that it will be Death’s final Call
SRK = Shahrukh Khan = Dev Saran
He had what not in his life,
But wandered empty heart
And empty handed, all life
RM = Rani Mukherjee = Maya
She closed her eyes and danced all night in the full moonlight
The moment she opened her eyes, only dark, and a lost spark of LIGHT
KK = Kiron Kher = Kamaljeet = Chandigarh as per SAM = SRK’s Mother
Arjun = SRK + PZ’s Son
My Analysis of Characters:
AB-Sr – An elderly, loving, caring, easy-going, fun-loving person who lost his wife many years back and has already suffered two heart attacks. He is the father of AB-Jr. He also fathered RM as she lost her parents when she was a child. A man with an attitude – ‘I am sad or happy how does it matter? as long as I pretend to be happy to keep you happy’. This guy is always in giving mode, trying to make everyone happy by posing that he is the happiest person on this earth and enjoying his life to the fullest. At this age, what he has been projected, it is very difficult to live a life of that sort.
Rating for Living the Character in the movie: 9/10
Probability of finding this character in real life: 3/10
AB-Jr – A serious, young, energetic, caring, successful businessman running his own PR company, falls in love with RM quite at an early stage and waited for her ‘Yes’ for 6 long years for marriage. He is a balanced, matured person who understands the meaning of love, life and marriage. He has ample opportunities to have fun with many girls as he moves in that sort of society where there are lots of young, sexy and fun loving girls but he is dedicated to his love before marriage who became his wife after marriage. He loves his father and wife a lot. This guy is a decent, sober and balanced character.
Rating for Living the Character in the movie: 9.5/10
Probability of finding this character in real life: 3/10
SRK – A young, energetic man already married to PZ for last five years. He is a successful football player who wins a major match as the movie starts and gets a multi-million yearly contract for playing for a club. He is a man having a feeling of insecurity, inferiority for his life that reflects in his married life. Somewhat jealous about the supreme level of confidence his wife has, and her successful career. All this makes him a complex personality. He is developed into a little subdued, frustrated and more insecure person gradually over a period of years after he met with an accident and broke his leg. Due to this he looses his ambitious career and multi-crore contract. He could not love his wife, himself, his son. Ideally he could not open his heart out with his wife and always kept on spoiling his relationship with her over the non-existing issues. Probably he could not understand himself properly. He is a highly successful player but a totally unsuccessful person in his married life. He is proud of himself that when PZ had no time for her son, he brought him up and took care of him!!!. But on the other hand his son is always frightened and scared of him.
Rating for Living the Character in the movie: 8.5/10
Probability of finding this character in real life: 7/10
PZ – She is a beautiful, intelligent, highly energetic, positive, ambitious, successful, confident lady who believes and loves herself and her husband, equally. She is working in a Fashion Magazine with an ambition to bring it to World No. 2 and later to World No. 1 Magazine. She is the main earner for the family after SRK met with an accident and broke his leg and career both. She is a firm believer about the boundaries of relationships in life.
Rating for Living the Character in the movie: 9.5/10
Probability of finding this character in real life: 2.5/10
RM – She is a beautiful lady, little immature and insecure about her life and love. Right on the day of her marriage she is unclear about her love towards her would be hubby. She is firm that the guy she is marrying with is good, successful, and rich but she is not in love with him. She is just marrying him because he loves her a lot and she has not yet met a man of her choice. This is the stupidest move she is going to take in her life.
Rating for Living the Character in the movie: 5.5/10
Probability of finding this character in real life: 8/10
KK – She is a graceful, open hearted old lady, mother of SRK, mother-in-law of PZ and grandmother of SRK’s Son. She has performed her role perfectly. She prefers to live with her d-in-law rather than son when SRK is kicked out of PZ’s house by PZ. She takes this decision for her d-in-law and grandson to prove that the act done by SRK is WRONG.
Rating for Living the Character in the movie: 9/10
Probability of finding this character in real life: 3/10
SRK & PZ’s Son – A very good, cute, best to fit child artist chosen who could perform his role in both the streams well. One stream when he is with SRK, totally frightened and scared of his father. Another stream when he is totally cheerful and talkative when he is with his mother or grandmother.
Rating for Living the Character in the movie: 9/10
Probability of finding this character in real life: 7/10
Some of the best Scenes:
-When SRK really gets frustrated after his accident due to which his career gets spoiled
-PZ is always graceful as usual
-PZ and SRK discussion when he discloses his extra marital relations with RM for last six months and PZ kicks him out of her life and house
-When SRK tells about his relations with RM in the B’day party of AB-Sr
SRK’s son playing football match and fails to covert a kick into a goal
- The hug scene of SRK and his son
- The moments when KK decides to be with PZ rather than going with SRK
- RM and SRK talking on phone after they leave their houses and telling each other that they are very happy
- PZ telling RM that RM’s stay away from SRK for 3 years is too less a punishment for RM and the real punishment will be when she will live with SRK and will face his nature and behavior
- The party scene in which AB-Sr judges a major rift between AB-Jr and RM and tries to make them understand the Nectar of Marriage by indirectly telling about himself and his wife. The Value of time in life is known only after it is lost and gone!!!
- AB-Sr on his death bed after third attack telling RM to leave AB-Jr
- When AB-Sr and KK catch RM and SRK red handed at station.
- And finally the scene in which PZ and AB-Jr tell RM to go and catch SRK else she will miss him forever

New iPhone Game Snakes and Ladders Showcases India's Emerging Tech Dominance
On September 27th, the Apple-acquired iPhone and iTouch application "snakes and ladders" was released. It didn't take long for the game to become the highest downloaded Apple game worldwide - over 250,000.
India’s tech knowledge is becoming accepted worldwide. Apple approached a self-steered engineer in the South of India, T. Harikumar, who quit his job and launched his own company to develop mobile games and image technology processing. Harikumar developed the game “Snakes and Ladders” as an iPhone app.
The game is so amazingly built that it has fascinated people all around the world. If you are a user of Apple’s iPhone or iTouch, you can download the game from iTunes here. It is really interesting and has given a different style to this game.

Lawsuit Lodged Against iPhone Game Developer Storm8
Can you accept as a user of world famous Apple’s iPhone, that when you buy an iPhone game, your contact details are captured, stored in a database and then used or misused for a good or bad purpose but without your knowledge? I can’t accept this. And same is the case with millions of iPhone users.
Can Apple just shred off the blame from their shoulders when this truth is revealed – by just saying that the since the application has been developed by a third party, storm8?
And can this third party, Storm8, on encountering a lawsuit lodged against them by one of the iPhone users in U.S. give an explanation that it was not intentional and happened just because of a bug?

22,000 Indians Are Driving Japan’s IT Industry
At the end of 2008, there were more than 22,000 Indian IT engineers in Japan, living and working in hi-tech Japanese firms, taking care of their information technology. And the number is going to increase every year if low Japanese birth rates and disinterest from Japan's youth in science and engineering careers continue. If it is the case that one of the highest technology countries is relying on Indian engineers in such a big way, it speaks highly of the training and intelligence of Indian engineers.
Undoubtedly, countries worldwide are now recognizing the Indian versatile intellect and knowledge and the admiration is increasing manifold. That speaks of the strength of India itself.
On the other hand, is it that those Indian engineers are attracted to big money and recognition outside their own country? Or they don’t get the same respect, pay and recognition in their own home?

Another Question Mark on China’s Poor Quality in Technology and Service
Ferry commuting between China and Hong Kong is not safe. 75 passengers traveling in the ferry connecting Hong Kong and China had a severe mishap resulting in 10 injured and 2 dead. Both the dead are reported to be Dutch Nationals.
The incident has again put a big question mark on the quality of technology and service in China. It has happened time and again in various products and services from China. The Europe community half a year back put ban on exports from China especially the products related to food and medicines.
How does China plan to manage such disasters time and again?
Bigger wonder is how the country which is least attentive towards Quality of production, technology and service is emerging as biggest economic power in the world?

Your Internet Accounts Stay Alive Even After Your Death
What happens to your belongings after you die is a separate story. Let us see what happens to your various major Internet site accounts once you move away from Earth. Various sites administrations have different strategies to handle it. Have you ever found a account handling question at the time of creating a new account on a Web Mail server like Yahoo, Google, Microsoft, AOL? Or for that sake what will happen to your account on MySpace, Facebook, Orkut, or other social network?
This is quite interesting to know that all these sites have different policies in place to manage an account after you pass away. Some accounts automatically get disowned whereas others are passed on to the next of the kin of the family to access or manage it. And some sites allow the next of the kin to close the account.
Imagine your personal account is accessed after you expire by your beloved wife or your kids to find out certain secrets through your mails or web activities that they were never aware of when you were alive.

Female Condom – A Costly But Natural Sex Affair
A couple, so far, had a choice of either oral sex or use a male condom when they wanted to enjoy sex and the female doesn’t want to conceive. But now, courtesy US Health department, an extra choice is there with the female – to use a condom made specifically for her – a female condom. It also gives an advantage when the male condom is not handy, to use a female condom instead. US FDA (US Food and Drug Administration) gave a green signal for female condoms way back in 1993, but to no avail, as it never came into practical existence. It could be due to its technicality, usage or cost issue.
USFDA further approved another improved version of female condoms in 2009 but still the issue raised was that they are quite bulky, made noise and are not economical. A health advocate trying it several times for the purpose of arriving at a conclusion regarding its usage, felt initial discomfort in inserting the condom inside her vagina in front of her counterpart, but after insertion she said it was absolutely ok for sex.
When time comparison is done for wearing male condoms versus female condoms, it is very less seconds versus few minutes. Another issue is that of external wearing versus internal setting of bag. This is the conclusion made by one of the certified sex therapist in Los Angeles.
On the other hand a lady from Michigan found it more comfortable, natural and enjoyed sex more than when her boyfriend used the male condom. But the couple decided to use female condom only for the special occasions because of its higher cost.
The health department is promoting it for the sake of providing precautionary measures for females against HIV/AIDS. A Health coordinator ensures that proper training is required to remove the feeling among female community regarding its complicated usage.
Finally, in my opinion, it is a battle between protection versus comfort of usage, enjoyment versus discomfort, and risk versus its mitigation. There have been instances in the past when male condoms were not able to protect sperm leakage 100%, but this could be a foolproof solution.
It could meet with an initial resistance from female segment but eventually looking at the security front, the mindset may change gradually. If we do a cost comparison it is for male condoms in lieu of a female condom. If we do a cost comparison it is 4 male condoms in lieu of a female condom.

Japan Starts Verifying Its Centenarians' Whereabouts
An alert has been raised in Japan via its health ministry to check countrywide the real existence of the elderly people at their recorded addresses. This alert came in the wake of the discovery of a 111-year-old Tokyo man’s preserved body; he had died 30 years ago at the age of 81, and someone had kept his body preserved at home with a mummification method.
The man was presumed to be alive, and living at his address, as per the records maintained by the health ministry.
Another serious incident reported was that an elderly lady, 113 years of age, was not found living at the address registered with the government. Her current whereabouts are unknown, and nobody could ascertain how many years ago she left this residence.
Approximately 40,000 centenarians, according to the census taken in October of last year, require verification. With repeated reports of missing centenarians in Japan, the health ministry got worried and took action to speed up this task.
In my opinion, not all countries would be worried about the whereabouts of its elderly people. Usually as happens in a family, in nations also, the value of elderly people starts decreasing as they are thought of as having no value to the family or nation.
Some nations still care and try to ascertain that the addresses of the elderly people of the nation, as per their official records, corresponds to their presence at that address.
Japan seems to be one of them. This wake is genuine or under some pressure from some NGO or opposition is yet to be seen. But somehow the exercise seems to be in the interest of the ignored elderly community. Centenarians going into isolated places on their own also could be one of the reasons that may get revealed during these investigations.

Where Are You Keisha?
Last Sunday may have been a relaxing weekend time for most families, but that was not the case for the family of 6-year-old girl Kiesha Abrahams from western Sydney.
Kiesha has been missing from her home since Sunday morning, and her family is totally blank about her whereabouts till now.
Keisha’s mother, who last saw her on Saturday night, is not clear whether Keisha has left home on her own or has been kidnapped, as there are no signs of any doubtful entry in the home. More doubts arise with the statements from the relatives and friends of Keisha, who said they didn’t see Keisha for almost 3 weeks, in school or elsewhere.
Keisha is believed to be a happy and normal child with no history of wandering out of home alone in the past. She was at home for the last week or so, absent from her school, as her mother had given birth to a newborn child. Though nobody is suspected so far, due to a lack of evidence, some may have doubts about Keisha’s biological father, who stays separate. Keisha’s mother married another man after Keisha was born.
Police detectives are trying to ascertain her whereabouts, but all efforts have been in vain so far. The blonde haired, blue-eyed Keisha is being missed badly by her mother, stepfather, relatives and friends.
It definitely has impacted her mother very badly who, I believe, must be praying all the time, to get her daughter back soon, in hail and hearty condition. Who knows where little Keisha is? The first couple of days' investigations and interrogations have not let police reach any conclusions.

Australia Waters Contain Most Unknown Living Species
Which country’s waters in the world are most biologically diverse in terms of living species? The answer is Australia’s, according to a recent census chaired by Dr. Alan Butler that polled thousands of scientists from almost 80 countries around the globe.
The survey results found that approximately 85% of the water species in Australia’s Marine area are still unexplored and unidentified, and more than 50% of the named species have still not been given a place in the database.
This opens a large avenue of further research for the marine scientist community to explore the unknown water species in Australia’s waters. The group of scientists admitted that this exploration of unknown species is a huge task that will take years.
Maybe with further advancement in technology, it will become possible to cover a higher range of unknown species, but as of now it seems to be an impossible task. The diversified species include huge variety of molluscs, fish, and other deep water species.
The above figures are based on certain findings, which in my opinion, may vary. The number of unknown species may be much higher than the estimated figures. More facts will be uncovered gradually, with further findings which may lead the research efforts to more fruitful results. The study has also generated a big challenge for more scientists from various countries to jump into the fray.

Black Monday for Facebook
The more popular a place is in any country, the more vulnerability it has towards safety and security. Similarly it is with the Internet sites.
Facebook is one of the largest populated sites that attract its users from almost all countries of the world. It is also largest portal in terms of applications. At any moment of time it has millions of users from across the world. And that is why it is Mecca for miscreants, hackers and virus generators.
Nearly three-quarters of a million users on Facebook was asked for resetting their password starting last Monday with a reason given to them was – ‘for security purpose’ though the real reason was identity theft.
Such like sites have to seriously look into the risk involved as the identity hack can really bring millions of its uses into intended disastrous troubles.

Indian Prime Minister House and Parliament House Prove Themselves Anti-Green
The electricity consumption bills for the years 2007-2009 for the Indian Prime Minister, Mr. Manmohan Singh’s New Delhi Residence, show a hefty amount that increased every year.
In 2007, it was about $26,808, and grew to $107,201 in 2008 and $248,130 in 2009. Similarly, those of the parliament house in New Delhi, the capital of India housing the central ministers, increased during that time from $1,691,489 in 2007, to $1,810,638 in 2009. The information was collected by RTI (Right to Information) activist Chetan Kothari, a resident of Mumbai, the financial capital of India.
RTI is a new act passed by Government of India (GoI) empowering any citizen of India to request any sort of information. The act has its own merits and demerits, in my opinion. On one hand, it has given power to the common man in India to seek information of any sort, but on the other hand, the most active RTI activists in the country are being attacked by the mafias fearing the exposure of large-scale malpractices being done behind the scenes. The mafias include many Members of Parliament, top level administrators and other powerful but unlawful entities in the country.
Coming back to Prime Minister House and the Parliament, it is very clearly visible that the Government of India lacks the courage of ‘Walk the Talk’. On one hand, the common man is facing huge power cuts in most parts of the country, and on the other hand, there is a tremendous increase in the power consumption in the top government offices. Do we need to declare to the world that we are ‘going green’ or is the world is going to believe what is clearly visible with the naked eye?

Do we need to declare to the world that we are ‘going green’ or is the world is going to believe what is clearly visible with the naked eye?

Are You Ready for This New "Ocean" on Earth?
This is not a natural Ocean. This is being built manually by Google and the purpose is to inform and update every one on this earth about the impact of global warming on underwater world by noticing minutely the change in depth of the oceans, tracking whales and noticing the changes in their behavior, melting ice caps, decreasing glaciers etc. The global warming in any case is effecting and going to effect in a larger scale directly or indirectly to all of us. If we don’t wake up today, tomorrow could be too late for all of us to act.
The project to build Google Ocean is being driven by Google’s CTA (chief technology advocate), Michael Jones. The purpose is to bring everyone universally on same platform by sharing any information regarding the subject.
The major point of concern right now is too less involvement of government, researchers, scientists, divers etc. worldwide.

'Iceman of Ladakh' Helps Mankind In Fight Against Glacial Melting
His name is Chewang Norphel, and he is 76 years old, but the increasing age has increased the fire in his belly to fight against global warming.
Chewang is a retired engineer in India. His native country is one of rivers with irrigation as the largest source of occupation and earning. The Himalayan nations of India, Tibet, Nepal, Pakistan, Bhutan, and China have many rivers in common that originate from Himalaya. Most of the people are dependant on these rivers for drinking water and irrigation purposes. Due to meltdown of glaciers or icecaps the rivers at odd times flood with water thereby destroying homes and farms of poor people living around and go dry in summers at the time of need of water for irrigation.
Chewang applied his mind and built a technology to divert melt water of glaciers through pipes to store in artificial lakes. In winters when the melt is low, this water is stored in these lakes followed by a dam. In nights at low temperatures in winters these dams stop the excessive water flowing down hence stopping destruction through floods and freezing the water which stays in frozen form in daytime also. In summers when the excessive water melts, and at the same time the water is needed in plains for irrigation purposes, these dams are opened to flow down the water but in a very structured manner.
Chewang is going great guns in creating glaciers (by now he has already created 12) and is all set to create five more. The only fear is that he is already 76 and may not be able to cope up for many more years against his age. That is why he is creating CDs for training purposes so that more Icemen can be created by passing the knowledge.

Now Tweet With The Spirits of Departed Celebrities
For the first time on Twitter, a psychic medium will try to contact departed celebrities and get the answers to the questions submitted by the public. A poll was conducted in London last week to determine which celebrities the general public would like to post questions to. The nominations were for actor River Phoenix, Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain, John Lennon, Marilyn Monroe, Abraham Lincoln and Houdini.
The responsibility to get answers from the spirits has been taken by psychic Jayne Wallace, who said she will post the replies when she receives them from the spirits. In the spirit of fun, this exercise seems ok, but nobody will be able to validate whether the reply has actually been sent by the spirits or was conjured from the imagination of Ms. Wallace.
A séance In London the day before Halloween is the setting of this event, and based on the nominations received from the public, it seems a lot of people around the world have a real interest in hearing from celebrities who have departed, and a genuine curiosity to get responses to their queries/ questions.
My question is, why is Michael Jackson missing from the nominations? Surely he is the most famous person to have died recently — perhaps he's hard to reach through Twitter.

Google and Microsoft Drift Towards Cloud Computing Standards
Cloud computing came with a big bang but could not get as much response from the customers as anticipated.
The main reason for that perhaps is trust. IT professionals and the corporate sector are still not very confident and sure about the security and safety of data on cloud.
Currently, there are no specific standards or audit controls formulated for cloud computing environments to clear vendor doubts in their customers' minds by proving that they are strictly following the standards or showing audit clearance results.
That is why large companies are finding the next best standards to latch onto. Google is working on certification under FISMA (Federal Information Security Management Act) and now Microsoft joins the race following a declaration from CSO of Microsoft Federal about ISO 27001 for Cloud Services.
