#AllNewJazz Hangout With @HondaCarIndia #HondaAtBIC

The excitement was at full bloom on 4th July 2015 for the 'Hangout with Honda' event where the All New Jazz was showcased. In fact, the excitement factor started many days before when the intimation came to us about it. There were multiple reasons for this. There were many firsts in a row in a single day. It was first ever pre-release of a new product launch by an esteemed automobile giant. Honda was releasing its new product Honda Jazz for blogger community well ahead of showcasing it to dealers. For the first time in India, bloggers community was getting aware of the ins and outs of the technical and functional aspects of a new car before its official release in the market. Five days in advance, to be precise. The second equally powerful element of excitement was to drive the unreleased All New Honda Jazz on the racing tracks of Buddh International Circuit (BIC). It proved to be a great innovative idea on behalf of Honda Motors and profoundly welcomed by the bloggers community that was present there. It was not only the bloggers from NCR but from various cities – Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai etc.

The journey started at 8.30AM for the cabs to arrive at the first station to pick a blogger and move to next station to pick the next participant. Arrival at Raddison hotel in Kasna, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Greater Noida, was around 10.30 AM where a registration desk was waiting for us enquiring our t-shirt number. Honda PR team wanted to ensure every participant wears the t-shirt so that none of us gets lost on the way J. Next couple of hours were for networking that everyone utilized in its own way. Some decided to carve new paths while others felt to remain on the known roads feeling that would be the safest bet. During lunch at Raddison Coffee Shop was good and while gulping tasty food networking was on its full swing. Right since beginning everyone was busy in posting on FB, Twitter, Instagram and other social media. And then we moved to Buddh International Circuit, the ultimate place to put our hands on the All New Jazz.

The amazing destination was a dream come true for most of us. I am sure very few of us would have been here earlier. The videos of ads of Honda Jazz in various countries were fabulous and interesting. A speech from Honda chief from Japan was there and after that there was a presentation on technical aspects of Honda Jazz by the Honda India marketing head followed by a quiz. Tea, Coffee, and Snacks were equally participating in every bit of the event there. A presentation on Do’s and Don’ts while driving at the circuit was there to ensure that discipline while driving stays on top of the mind of every driver. Everyone was asked for the choice between automatic and manual. I opted for the automatic.

In the control room, we were shown how each and every area of the circuit is minutely observed here with the help of strategically placed powerful cameras on the circuit. A helmet is a must for everyone in the car whether you sit on the driving seat or in the rear. Mobile is a big no while driving means no call making, attending, taking pictures or shooting videos. BIC is obviously a state of the art most modern racing track in the world. On the 5.5 kilometers of track, we had two rounds and a lot of great experience of handling turns of up to 180 degrees. After this fabulous experience, it was time to dine and wine. A fantastic day was about to end and everyone was already loaded with heaps of memories and a great unique experience.

Some of the features to mention is a must without which this post will remain incomplete. There is a rear parking camera to give you a multi-view display and relevant guidelines. The rear micro antenna ensures you miss nothing of this world while driving in your own world of All New Honda Jazz. The chrome read license garnish gives your car a classy look and you, a unique style. Stylish front fog lamps provide driving a power edge even during the poorest of weather conditions.  Style, power, and quality are three musts for Honda cars. You find a unique class and style with Alloy wheels, sporty sleek headlamps, premium rear tail lamps, LED high mount stop lamp, front grille with premium black gloss & chrome finish; and electric adjustable & foldable outside mirror with turn indicators are fine examples.

the ALL NEW JAZZ has magic seats - where you can adjust your seats in four modes as per your comfort and desire. These modes are Tall, Utility, Refresh and Long. The powerful and efficient diesel model gives you 27.3 kms per liter mileage whereas the petrol version gives 19 kmpl. These versions are called i-DTEC and i-VTEC respectively having 1.5L and 1.2L of engine respectively. The diesel version has 6 speed MT gearbox whereas the petrol version is having 5 speed MT gearbox. The 1.5L powerful engine of the diesel version has tremendous power up to 100 ps while the petrol version 1.2L engine has a power of up to 90 ps.
