Yes Bank International Polo Cup - International Polo Grand Slam

The passion of Bindu and Rana Kapoor (Managing Director and CEO, Yes Bank) with Polo sports started in 2012. Yes Bank International Polo Cup 2012 was the first international Polo Grand Slam that was organized in India by the duo. 2012 witnessed Yes Bank partnering with Amateurs Riders’ Club (ARC) for this event. ARC is among the oldest and largest privately run civilian horse riding clubs in India. 

The inaugural match was between the two prestigious teams - India ARC and Argentina. Another partner to this event was the Consulate of the Argentina Republic. This glorious event happened on 24^th March 2012 at the ARC Polo Ground, Mahalaxmi Race Course, Mumbai. India ARC won this match and the trophy.

Yes Bank International Polo Cup 2013 was held on March 16, 2013, at the same venue. The second edition was as awestruck as its predecessor. The enthralling match between India ARC and Argentina Arandu ended with 6-3 thus former retaining the trophy for the second year. Yes Bank International polo Cup 2014 was held on 22^nd March 2014. The venue was same. It was an international glorious event happening for the third year in a row and was a treat for Mumbaikars.

The fourth edition of Yes Bank International Polo Cup 2015 held on March 21, 2015, witnessed India ARC beating Argentina 6-5. This was the fourth straight win in four years for India ARC.
