This is really inspiring. Good deeds in life have a hierarchical pattern. We start with personal agendas moving on to the family. From family, we start doing good work for society or community. Gradually the level reaches to state, then country level. Beyond that select few adopt a global mission. A lot of people are never able to go beyond personal or family level. I am talking about The History Project. The project is driven by the Youth Of India and Pakistan.

It is the youth taking new strides in today’s world. The power of youth is becoming prominent. Worldwide, the youth community is coming out with the open mindset, positive thoughts and substantially effective actions. All the good in the world need #SpreadTheVibe. Especially when it is a youth initiative at a global level, it needs a special mention and appreciation. 

This is the real story of a great initiative by a youth from Pakistan. The great initiative has a single agenda. And the agenda is to fill the gaps between India and Pakistan. We all know that we split as India and Pakistan in 1947. Before that, we were a single country. We all were living together, happily. We used to enjoy festivals celebrated by each other. There used to be no gaps between Hindus and Muslims. Then all of a sudden partition happened. The gaps started appearing and gradually widening apart. The leaders of one country became a point of hatred for the other. Gradually politics became prominent over the common countrymen of both nations. The relationship between the two countries spoiled like anything. But then it is the Youth Of India and Pakistan who planned to come out with this unique The History Project. 

The History Project is the brainchild of Qasim Aslam, 27. He hails from Pakistan. He started this emotional and touching project in 2013. The mission of this project is to kill the rivalry between the two nations that is there for decades. And this rivalry and hatred keep increasing every decade. Probably that is what the governing agencies of both countries wish for.

This great project is uniting students from the two countries who have taken the responsibility of jointly publishing an online project comparing the different narratives of the leadership of the two countries. This is a phenomenal effort by young Indians and Pakistanis to rewrite their shared history in a positive manner. This is not only an inspiring but an emotionally driven project.

The History Project is creating new bonding between the two nations. The positive effort of the youth from two countries will never go waste. It has already started producing fruitful results of harmony. The history of the two countries is getting rewritten, in a sweeter tone. The bitterness between the relations is definitely going to wipe off with the help of this fabulous effort.
