ICC T20 WC2012: India vs England: England Batting Tottered Against Indian Bowlers: Loss Clearly visible After 11 overs and 6 wickets

India are getting a psychological advantage over England though later would never have thought they they would be in dire straits after deciding to send former for batting first when they won the toss. India totaled to 170 for the loss of 4 wickets - thanks to the lovely piece of batting by Rohit Sharma and earlier by Virat Kohli. Rohit was the solo half century maker in Indian Innings.

After getting to bat, England were never in a considerably good position in their first 10 overs when by the end of 8th over of their innings they were 4 wickets down. The fate continued when their 5th wicket too fell in the 9th over of the game. Half of the team was back to pavilion when the overs had not even crossed the half mark. First wicket of England fell in the first over's last ball itself when they lost Hales for duck, and England were only at 2. Their second wicket fell at 18 when John Wright got out lbw by Pathan thereby getting second wicket for Pathan. Wright was out at 6. This happened in the third over of the game and second over of Pathan. Two consecutive wickets for Pathan in 2 consecutive overs. Third wicket fell in sixth over of the game when Morgan was clean bowled by Harbhajan at 2 and England were reduced to 39 for the loss of 3 wickets.

Fourth wicket in the shape of Bairstow fell at inning's score of 42 on the last ball of 6th over of the game. Bairstow was clean bowled by Piyush Chawla. Fifth wicket fell at 51 when opener Keiswetter, who was going perfectly well, got out at 35 caught by Kohli and bowled by Chawla in 9th over of the innings. He made 35 runs in 25 balls with 4 fours and 2 sixes. Sixth wicket was down on the last ball of 10th over when Bresnan got out at 1 caught by Gambhir bowled by Harbhajan.
