Virgin Airtran and Delta Provide Free Wifi on Board While Air Travel | Trifter

Virgin, AirTran and Delta are the three airlines that have started free Wi-Fi facility to their passengers since last month or so. If you are not aware about this new provision added, you will be accordingly informed when you board one of their airplanes. Wi-Fi is available on some other airlines also but on paid basis. Usual average rate of using Wi-Fi on a five hour flight journey would be around USD 10 or so which is not bad. But definitely free Wi-Fi service provided by AirTran, Virgin and Delta is more than welcome for passengers than a paid service. It clearly saves you USD 10 or more depending on the flight and journey.
