Recall: Toyota Quality Failed Thrice in Two Years | Headliner Watch

Toyota Motors, the world’s largest vehicle manufacturer, has decided to recall around 1.5 million vehicles from U.S. and Japan due to a defective lot release.

The defect is associated with brake fluid and fuel pump of the vehicles. The models being recalled are Lexus and Avalon mainly among others.

Out of 1.5 million, around 750,000 are alone to be recalled from U.S. itself. A lot of 600,000 is also to be recalled back from Japan. Balance of the vehicles to be recalled is in Europe and other parts of the world.

Last year also Toyota had to recall over 10 million vehicles. It was the defective acceleration in the vehicle that had become an issue and forced Toyota to immediately take an action after it got criticism about its quality inspection process in product line.
