4 Things About Today's World That Puzzle Me #BlogchatterBlogHop #CauseAChatter #ClimateChange

4 things about today's world that amaze me. I am talking about climate change. First of all, as a result of climate change, there is an increase in rainfall in the monsoon regions of the world. As a result, problems like floods, landslides and land erosion are arising at a faster pace. These are increasing continuously and exponentially. Second, the water quality is continuously declining. The supply of fresh water, which was already a serious problem being faced by the world, is now causing serious side effects. Despite knowing that there's no life without water, we kept taking it casually. Third, the problem of abnormal distribution of rainfall has arisen due to climate change and we are facing it day by day. If we see in India itself, we have to face situations like floods and droughts at the same time at different places.

Different kind of extremities are happening at the same time. While there is a flood situation in Northeast India, cyclone conditions continue to occur in the eastern coastal areas. While all this is happening on the one hand, on the other hand, a dreadful situation of drought arises in certain other parts. All this is not happening by itself. We are the biggest reason. Fourth, we ourselves are the main cause of climate change. We are the ones who have been betraying nature and its resources for decades. This is the reason that the change in climate is happening slowly over many years and we kept ignoring it blindly. We never stopped taking undue advantages. Trees have been continuously cut down. Sometimes, to use the forest for farming or building houses, sometimes, for urbanization and industrialization.

What nature gave was never less for us, provided we made good and sensible use of it. But, due to its misuse, its effect started falling in the climate as well. The number of cloudbursts has also increased. If we see today, most of the human deaths in the world are happening due to natural disasters. No one else is responsible for this, we are ourselves. Waste of precious water, cutting of trees, increasing of harmful wastes in rivers and oceans, and so on, are all the consequences that we are facing now due to mistreating nature. Today, the situation is such that we are in a condition where there is a well on one side and a ditch on the other side. In the blind race for indiscriminate progress, we have in a way raped our nature and natural resources and still are living shamelessly without any guilt.
