Rising Petals by Ashwini Rath #pebbleinwaterswrites #books #bookreview #tbrchallenge #bookchatter @blogchatter @ashwinirath

Every now and then, after fighting with the outside world of our own, which is important to survive and strive, it's good to peep inside, take a stock of our emotions, find out the emptiness to fill it back, and, have a good conversation with self, it's important to look out for a good catalyst for this. Rising Petals by Ashwini Rath is such a tool or enabler in that regard. I loved all of the 26 poems that take you close to your mind, heart, conscious, and cut off from the outside world for a while. Don't rush over these 100 pages. Take your own sweet time, read, pause, breathe, toggle to your deep inside, come back, and read next. This book is for the modern reader, if any age. Reading a few minimalistic poems like this is always a good bargain for the mind.

Each of the poem penned by Ashwini Rath in Rising Petals intends to enable us to indentify various conflicts lying on our mind here and there, resolve each one and come out with a better frame of mind with a new freshness and inner strength. These poems tickle our thoughtfulness towards emotions, relations, and life itself. As the author says, "the poems reflect the anxiety of anybody yearning for the next stage of evolution as an individual and as a society without disruption or bloodshed”. Though every piece of this minimalistic poetry is unique and conveys a crisp message while referring to the various faces of individuals and society we are living in, in these modern times. Like Anomaly, Coffee, Desire, Indian, Legacy, Unwanted, are lovely pieces so well crafted that make you crave for a better and beautiful life while sailing in turbulent waters of life.

I feel, Rising Petals by Ashwini Rath is a book I would keep as a permanent mate is the other fabulous books that are part of my personal library. It's not a one time finish. I can pick it up any time and open any page that will help me unclutter my thoughts and emotions.
