Four Winds of Love by Danny Caspi is an interesting fiction. It revolves
between the 1930s to 1990s. In fact, it is a story of various angles of
human behaviours, feelings, and emotions. The story begins in 1932.
Betty is at the centre stage of the story and about to start her journey
in the third class car of a train. Betty, a blonde revolutionary, as
Yanek, her friend calls her. While Betty's train is about to leave, she
can see all the faces getting blurred by her tears. Her father, her
sister Rosa, and her mother. All of them will be left behind along with
her village and best friends with just a blast of the whistle of the
train. Still, she is feeling a sense of excitement inside for the
adventure she is about to encounter after this journey.
All this is a result of the drama that began a day before. In fact, a few hours back, last night only. This is just the beginning of Four Winds of Love by Danny Caspi that comprises a lot of thrill and excitement. What makes Betty leave her village all of a sudden? Why is there a fear of her arrest by the police? Has she done a crime? Or there is some political agenda behind all this? In fact, Betty is not her actual name. This is the name with which her brother introduces her to her new landlady in Paris. Paris is the new place where she will have to settle down. As Betty. Madame Paulette Gréville is her landlady. And she calls her brother Doctor Gogol. Betty wonders because she knows her brother is not a doctor. Rather he is a civil engineer.
