First Ever India International Science Festival

With more than two lakh visitors during India’s first ever Science Festival, it turned out to be quite engaging and fruitful not only for participants but also for visitors. In all, more than 230 research papers were presented that is phenomenal. The India International Science Festival (IISF) started on 5th December and is getting concluded on 8th December. A 3-day Science Short-Film Competition was part of this festival. The short-film competition concluded on 7th December with 6 short-films declared as winners among 20 contesting short-films.

The clear cut signal of the festival emerged as a message to DREAM HIGH. The final day concluded with a good number of awards distributed to young technologists and scientists. There is a Science & Technology and Industrial Expo running that will be concluded tomorrow i.e. 8th December.

IISF valedictory session was addressed by Dr Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister for Science & Technology and Earth Sciences. Dr Vardhan encouraged all students and researchers to keep dreaming high and achieving new heights in life. But everyone should keep society on top while doing any research or innovation.
