WT20 Super Eights: PAK vs IND: Indian Batting Was Awesome And Confident: Won by 8 Wickets

After the exit of Gambhir in first over of the game at ducks, Kohli and Sehwag carried out the innings very well and brought India to a comfortable zone by 10th over of the innings where the asking rate was less than 6 per over. Sehwag got out in 11th over on the bowling of Afridi giving catch to Umar Gul. He got out at his score of 29 made in 23 balls with 3 fours. India were 75 at that time. Yuvraj Singh joined Virat Kohli to move Indian innings towards a comfortable win by making 129 runs.

Kohli by then had moved to 62 in 50 balls with 7 fours and 2 sixes. India got into 3 figures by the end of 14th over. In next 6 overs they had to make 29 runs. Asking rate was less than 5 per over. India were 110 in 15 overs with 19 runs to win in next 5 overs and 8 wickets intact. The asking rate was almost 4 runs per over.

Hero of the day was Virat Kohli. By the end of 16 overs India were 126 for the loss of 2 wickets needing just 3 runs in 28 balls. Kohli was not out at 78 made in 61 balls with 9 fours and 2 sixes. Yuvraj Singh on the other hand was not out at 19 runs made in 16 balls with 2 fours. India won the match with 3 overs to spare.
