WC2012T20: First Super Eights: NZ vs SL: Picture Clear in 5 overs of Sri Lankan Batting

First five overs and run rate over 12 runs per over with no loss of wicket, clearly showed the killing intentions of Sri Lankan batting after New Zealand set a target of 175 for them. Mahela Jayawardene and Tilakratane Dilshan are going great guns in the first Super Eights match between Sri Lanka and New Zealand here on Pallekele ground in Sri Lanka.

No over gone without a big hit and both batsmen are hitting all around the ground keeping NZ bowlers clueless and desperate for getting a wicket or even stopping the raining score.

7 overs gone Sri Lanka were 80 runs and the first wicket is gone on the second ball of 8th over when Mahela Jayawardene trying to hit a pull shot got caught out by Vettori on the bowling of Jacob Oram. Kumar Sangakara joins in to carry on the spree with Dilshan. Jayawardene gone for 44 made in 26 balls with 3 fours and 3 sixes.

NZ has got its first prey.
