Starting "just for fun" a few years back – Social Networking has emerged as a potentially useful and important tool for personal and business purposes.
Social Networking in being accepted more widely now all across the globe. With the change in work and lifestyles, people are getting stuck more to their gadgets. This has gradually impacted in a decrease of physical interactions.
Transparency has increased now on social media. People with a real name, business or personal credentials do not mind in revealing it rather than projecting with fake entities or names.
Social Media has emerged as a boundary-less entity and the thing that started just for fun few years back is emerging as a strong tool for business, engagement, recruitment, personal identification and verification tool.
When initially Social Networking had started nobody took it seriously for business purposes. In fact, it was, for years, treated as a wastage of time and productivity for employees sitting on their desktops and laptops during business hours.
Ways were being chalked out for drawing security measures so that social networking sites are not accessible within business walls. But all of a sudden scenario started changing. The corporate world found it a boon rather than bane to be present on social networking sites such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn etc.
