Car Review: New Sedan Tata Vista D90 ZX: Excellent Power With Extreme Comfort

25^th January was the day when yet to launch Tata Motors new Sedan Vista D90 ZX was delivered at my doorstep, courtesy Blogadda (under their product review program) and Tata. It is nice to see the real power of social media emerging out from various corners and corporate world is slightly seems to have understood that is it better to spend less on advertising and utilize the power of blogging and real life reviews where just a penny out of the total advertising budget would be required to spend. The two variants of this powerful diesel Sedan class car are VX and ZX costing approx. 6 Lac and 7 Lac respectively.  I had three days – 26^th Jan to 28^th Jan to try it exhaustively that was delivered with a full tank. The car has finally been launched on 28^th January.

There was no concrete plan made in advance on how are we going to spend these 3 days with this car, neither were any destinations finalized. So it all started with a state of confusion on 26^th – where to?  Anyhow that was mutually sorted out. Well! Let us move now to the excellent features that give it an extra edge over its peers from other manufactures and models – Maruti’s Swift and Hyundai’s i20. Both these models will definitely get an impactful dent in their sales because of the better return on investment in Tata’s new Sedan Vista D90 ZX+. Fog lamps in both – front and rear – is a boon to the person sitting on driving seat during those foggy winter days. The smart rear wiper which is being termed as ‘intelligent’ starts automatically the moment it smells rain drops falling on its rear glass. Stereo worked marvelously with extra powerful speakers, USB & Bluetooth connectivity, DVD player; all are really fantastic.

The exteriors: Out of five color variants – Spice Red, Porcelain White, Cavern Grey, Ultra Violet and and Jet Silver – I got the Spice Red to try with and found it really great. The black roof on the car gives a fantastic look to this spacious Sedan. ZX+ model is precisely Rs 6.83 ex-showroom and has been built with some futuristic aspirations of the car lovers, and is solid enough to reach to number one in sales soon. The body is sturdy along with alloy wheels that are good enough to give it a royal look.

The Interiors: Quite spacious for people sitting in both front and rear seats, it has some fantastic features for driver. Through its DIS (Driver Information System) it provided me the mileage, fuel status etc. The heater too was very effective so as to cover up the low temperature outside even during the late night drives. Power windows and control of all windows at driver’s side are good to control overall for all windows. Gradually if you see, it is Tata Indica bundled with lots of technologically advanced features and a competitive edge over its peer Sedan models from other manufacturers so as to beat them in all aspects.
